The Field Service Mechanical Supervisor travels to Power Plants in the Sweden and Worldwide and supports our internal and external customers with supervision of installation, stripdown, inspection, maintenance activities and reassembly of Steam Turbine & Generator power units and their auxiliaries on units ranging from 2MW through to 2000MW. This position requires strong leadership skills and behaviours along with technical competence in reading and interpreting engineering documents, Technical & Quality instructions, Safety Documentations and Engineering drawings.
A thorough knowledge of Steam Turbines and Generator Technology is required.
Your Role:
Perform duties of a Nominated Supervisor or Nominated Competent Person as required in the Safe System of Work, reviewing Work Permits & ensure safety from the system through isolations before commencement of work.
Prepare, review where required Risk Assessment & Method statements and their Implementation, Management & Monitoring of Putting People Safely To Work.
Daily walk down of the work areas ‘Hazard Hunts’ and documentation of same in Gen Suite.
Ensure all equipment & tooling used by your team is certified and fit for purpose, reporting any defects.
Attend site briefings as required, relaying back information to your team.
Manage internal and external craft personnel, ensuring compliance to company Safety & Quality processes, procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
Ensure adequate and appropriate/efficient use of Material, Tooling & Resources.
Interpretation of Engineering Drawings & Technical Instructions.
Work under strict Foreign Material Exclusion rules.
Understand all aspects of mechanical engineering measuring techniques to very high tolerances and standards, monitoring of measurements.
Adherence to Outage Schedules, assist with coordinating & prioritization of critical path activities.
Help manage Quality Control documentation, filling in of Quality documents - Inspection Record Sheets.
Assist in management of shift log books & outage schedules (activities, events, agreemements, problems, work completed etc.)
Assess craft labour & give feedback on performance.
Strong Communication with Site Management essential.

Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma
Extensive knowledge large rotating & static machinery
Extensive travel to and from projects and various field assignments will be required.

Strong Customer relationship management and knowledge/experience practicing EHS and Quality Procedures
Experience and training on Alstom, GE, Siemens or other OEM equipment is preferred

Role Summary:
The Financial Control Analyst will have responsibility for driving accounting compliance according to US GAAP, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate, actual financial reporting and analysis.


Essential Responsibilities:
In this role, the Financial Control analyst will partner with the businesses operations teams to develop and present key analytics to the Management Teams to drive and support business strategy.


In addition, you will:
Manage the controllership and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and internal control rules.
Ensure accounting is in accordance with accounting principles and Company guidelines
Analyse the execution performance and propose action plans to improve profitability and cash profile, as well as corrective action plans to mitigate identified risks.
To analyse variable and base costs on a monthly basis, and report on variances and their causes.
Perform and review closing account reconciliations
Perform quarter end closing activities
Budgeting of facilities management costs and the responsibility for the re-invoicing of facilities costs to the sub-lease units.
Perform Ad hoc project controlling activities, such as ensuring compliance with controllership guidelines.



Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Proven working experience within financial analysis.

• Responsible for total ownership of RFQ/Order documents with regard to accuracy, clarity, quality, and timelines.


• Must strive to meet all Customer request dates, reduce processing cycles and keep backlog of orders to a minimum.


• To be the main interface between supporting functions, (Engineering, Sourcing and Materials Management) for the optimised execution of ITR for Nordics Parts activities.


• Interface and support Account Manager on Spare Parts Opportunities.


• You will need to understand ongoing customer needs, have continuous sales interactions to understand the marketplace and chase on live offer status, and keeping NEX updated on all opportunities.


• Provide factory/sourcing commitments with regard to short cycle demands and documentation to Customers and GE representatives as appropriate.


• Understand all Customer Special Requirements, communicate to and follow up with those responsible for all accurate and complete fulfilment. Drive customer satisfaction, OTD, and Tender Cycle Times.


• Manage and administer all fulfilment related exporting activities including documents creation, shipment tracking, and sales recognition and all necessary document archiving function.


• Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, execute mandatory EHS trainings and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.

Qualifications/Requirements :


• College or university degree or equivalent experience


• At least 2 years work experience in the Customer Service


• Extended knowledge of export regulations, terms and processes


• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and ability to handle multiple priorities


• Ability to perform in a team environment


• Self-starter, capable of working with minimum supervision


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications


• Strong customer service mind-set


Desired Characteristics :


• Technical degree and familiarity with the Energy Industry 


• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish and/or Finnish 


• Any other European Language capability is an advantage 


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. 


• The ability to organise yourself, your workload and internal teams to all reach a common goal
